Hey,
Came across this blog through the links linking to my blog.
I think he uses Fantom-x to quickly jot down his musical ideas and as a MIDI controller for his virtual instruments. Even Harris uses Fantom-X. My understanding is that almost all his orchestral sounds comes from VI's and live session players.
